mild' odeuren 
strelen ons, heel ijl,
Lauwe winden, 
welgezinde, 
blazen in ons zeil.
 
En uit wouden 
drijven oude 
zachte zangen aan,
Die eerst zwellen, 
maar na tellen 
vlug voorbij weer gaan.
 
Heerlijk zuiden, 
wil jij luiden 
dat de onmin staakt?
Kun jij geven 
wat het leven 
waarlijk vrolijk maakt?
