Xiuxiuegen suaument els vents;

Canta la gola del rossinyol;
A dalt, des de la volta dels estels,
ressona cap a baix la veu de l'amor!
Del laberint de plàtans
apareix Laura, l'encisadora!
Brosten flors al pas del zèfir
i, com un cant celestial,
dels llavis de les roses m'arriba
la veu tremolosa i dolça de l'amor!
