Confirmed with "Der Brautwillkomm auf Wartburg", Fünf Dichtungen von Joseph Viktor von Scheffel, Stuttgart: Verlag von Adolf Bonz & Comp., 1887, page 32. Beneath the poem are the words "(Mit einem Strauß Edelweiß.)", which can be translated "(With a bouquet of Edelweiß.)"
