by Alexei Vasilyevich Timofeyev (1812 - 1883)

Osedlaju konja
Language: Russian (Русский)
«Osedlaju konja, konja bystrogo;
Polechu, ponesus' legkim sokolom
Ot toski, ot zmei v pole chistoje;
Razmechu po plecham kudri chernye,
Razmechu po plecham kudri chernye.

Razozhgu, raspalju ochi jasnye, -
Vorochus', pronesus' vikhrem, v'jugoju;
Zalomlju nabekren' shapku barkhatnu,
Zaguzhu, zabrenchu v gusli zvonkije,
Zaguzhu, zabrenchu v gusli zvonkije».

- «Polno, polno tebe pokhvaljat'sja, knjaz'!
Mudrena ja, toska, ne skhoronish'sja!
V temnyj les obernu krasnykh devushek,
V grobovuju dosku – gusli zvonkije,
Snegom, l'dom zanesu pole chistoje,
Issushu, izorvu serdce bujnoje,
Prezhde smerti sgonju s sveta bozh'ego».

Ne postel' postlana v svetlom tereme –
Chernyj grob tam stoit s dobrym molodcem.
V izgolov'e sidit krasna devica,
Gor'ko plachet ona, prigovarivajet:
«Pogubila toska druga milogo.
Ty sderzhala, toska, slovo vernoje!».
