Vetochka
Language: Russian (Русский)
V bescenny'j chas uedinen`ya,
Kogda pusty'nnoyu tropoj
S zhivy'm vostorgom upoen`ya
Ty' brodish` s miloyu mechtoj
V teni dubravy' molchalivoj, —
Vidal li ty', kak vetr igrivoj
Mladuyu vetochku sorvyot?
Rodnoj kustarnik ostavlyaya,
Ona viyotsya, upadaya
Na zerkalo ruchejny'x vod,
I, novy'j zhitel` vlagi chistoj,
S potokom ply't` prinuzhdena,
To nad struyoyu serebristoj
Spokojno nositsya ona,
To vdrug pred vzorom ischezaet
I kroetsya na dne ruch`ya;
Ply'vyot — vsyo novoe vstrechaet,
Vsyo neznakomy'e kraya:
Useyan nezhny'mi czvetami
Zdes` uly'bayushhijsya breg,
A tam pusty'ni, vechny'j sneg
Il` gory' s grozny'mi skalami.
Tak dalej vetochka ply'vyot
I put` neverny'j svoj svershaet,
Poka ona ne utopaet
V puchine bespredel`ny'x vod.
Vot nasha zhizn`! — tak k vernoj celi
Neoborimoyu volnoj
Potok nas vsex ot koly'beli
Vlechyot do dveri grobovoj.
