by Pyotr Dmitrievich Buturlin (1859 - 1895)

Sulamita
Language: Russian (Русский)
Ja — roza Sarona, ja — landyš dolin!
Ot bašen Sidonskich do Čermnych pučin,
Ot Nila do rek Ninevii dalekoj
Net kraše menja meždu ženščin Vostoka.

Syny moej materi, zlobno kljanja,
Stereč' vinogradnik poslali menja;
No solnce s nebes ljubovalosja mnoju
I znojnoj menja odarilo krasoju.

Spustilas' ja gornoj tropoj v vertograd
Smotret', kak cvetet molodoj vinograd,
Kak zybljutsja travy bol'šimi volnami,
Kak statnyj granat uvenčalsja cvetami, —

No tam ne našla ja vesennich cvetov...
Našla ja togda v vertograde ljubov'!..
Moj milyj — kak car' sredi carskogo stana,
I riz ego zapach — čto zapach Livana!

On vlastno obvil menja pravoj rukoj;
Drugaja ruka — pod moej golovoj...
Mne dajte vina! JA ot sčast'ja stradaju!..
Mne dajte vina... Ot ljubvi umiraju!..
