by Else Lasker-Schüler (1869 - 1945)

Sascha kommt aus Sibirien heim
Language: German (Deutsch)
Sascha kommt aus Sibirien heim
Wie er aussehn mag?

Trotzendes Gold seine Stirn war,
Süßer Todstrahl sein Haar,
Seine Lippen brannten am Altar.

Sascha trank meinen Herzseim
Jede Nacht, die am Traumhang lag.

Was er sagen mag –
Wie er klagen mag –

Wo steck ich meine Liebsten hin?
Da ich ihm untreu war
Und doch nur seine Blume bin.

Dem Dichter färbt er die Schläfe rot,
Den Dieb sticht seine Ehre tot.

Aber den König trifft er nicht,
Der hat meines Bruders steinern Gesicht.
Sascha!
