by Nikolai Nikolayevich Orzhitsky (1796 - 1861)

Proščanie gusara
Language: Russian (Русский)
Tovarišči, na ratnom pole,
Sredi vragov, v čužich krajach
Vstrečat' uže ne budem bole
My smert', stol' slavnuju v bojach…

Už vmeste čašu zolotuju
Vinom ne budem napolnjat',
Ne budem bole krugovuju
Za zdrav'e chrabrych osušat'.

JA bronju skinul, meč moj ržavit,
V bezdejstvii duša moja.
Konem ruka moja ne pravit,
I slavy put' ne dlja menja.

Ot vas ottorgnutyj sud'boju,
Odin sred' rodiny moej,
Odin – s stesnennoju dušoju
Skitat'sja budu mež ljudej.

Moj kon' pokinut; neveselyj,
Menja, glavoj poniknuv, ždet,
No tščetno ždet, osirotelyj;
Tovarišč rati ne pridet.

Uvy, uže ne budet bole,
So mnoj na bran' letja streloj,
Toptat' vraga na brannom pole,
Proščaj, – o drug, soratnik moj!

Tak govoril v krugu soratnych
Gusar razluki v skorbnyj čas.
Vzdochnul, i na očach besstrašnych
Sleza blesnula v pervyj raz.
