Pazienza, dici, e sciogli i riccioli neri, e ora per ora cadono le foglie e ora per ora una campana a morto chiede alle lacrime l'ultimo tributo per la tomba. Vedi che i giorni se ne vanno presto, senti come ammonendo battono nel petto, apri, apri, ciò che non abbiamo avuto oggi, domani è perduto per sempre. Pazienza, dici, e abbassi lo sguardo, è negata la mia domanda alla felicità; dunque addio, io non ti vedrò più, così vuole il mio implacabile destino.
