Lyg nieko nebūtų nutikę nakty.
Nelaimė nutiko tik man vienam,
O saulė – ji šypsosi kiekvienam.

Nereikia nakties savyje užrakinti,
Geriau amžinon švieson ją skandinti.
Nors mano stoginėj ges žvakės liepsna,
Telieka pasauliui vien džiaugsmo šviesa.
