Sie wandelt im Blumengarten
Und mustert den bunten Flor,
Und alle die Kleinen warten
Und schauen zu ihr empor.

»Und seid ihr denn Frühlingsboten,
Verkündend was stets so neu,
So werdet auch meine Boten
An ihn, der mich liebt so treu.«

So überschaut sie die Habe
Und ordnet den lieblichen Strauß,
Und reicht dem Freunde die Gabe,
Und weicht seinem Blicke aus.

Was Blumen und Farben meinen,
O deutet, o fragt das nicht,
Wenn aus den Augen der Einen
Der süßeste Frühling spricht.

El ram de flors

Ella passeja pel jardí florit
i examina l’acolorida florida
i totes les flors petites esperen
i l’esguarden cap amunt.

“I si vosaltres sou les missatgeres de la primavera,
anunciant sempre el que és nou,
sigueu també les meves missatgeres
per al qui tan fidelment m’estima.”

Així doncs, ella mira el que té a l’abast
i arranja un bonic ram de flors,
i l’ofereix com present al seu amic
defugint el seu esguard.

El que les flors i els colors representen,
oh, no ho assenyalis, oh, no ho preguntis,
quan des dels ulls d’una dona
la més dolça primavera parla.
