Kung Liljekonvalje

Kung Liljekonvalje av dungen,
kung Liljekonvalje är vit som snö,
nu sörjer unga kungen
prinsessan Liljekonvaljemö. 
  
Kung Liljekonvalje han sänker
sitt sorgsna huvud så tungt och vekt,
och silverhjälmen blänker
i sommarskymningen blekt. 
  
Kring bårens spindelvävar
från rökelsekaren med blomsterstoft
en virak sakta svävar,
all skogen är full av doft. 
  
Från björkens gungande krona,
från vindens vaggande gröna hus
små sorgevisor tona,
all skogen är uppfylld av sus. 
  
Det susar ett bud genom dälden
om kungssorg bland viskande blad,
i skogens vida välden
från liljekonvaljernas huvudstad.

El Rey Liljekonvalje está blanco como la nieve,
Ved, el joven rey llora 
por la princesa Liljekonvaljemö.
 
El Rey Liljekonvalje hunde su cabeza
Entristecida, tan pesada y tan sensible,
Y su casco de plata brilla
en el pálido atardecer estival.
 
En torno a las telarañas del pino
Un cáliz de incienso con perfume de flor
lentamente se alza,
El bosque entero está lleno de su olor.
 
En las coronas de los abedules,
En la meciente Casa Verde del Viento,
Suenan pequeñas canciones tristes,
El bosque entero está lleno de murmullos.
 
Susurra un mensaje a través del pequeño valle
