by Klaus Groth (1819 - 1899)

Vom Dorfe ab am Raine
Language: German (Deutsch)
Vom Dorfe ab am Raine
Da steht ein kleines Haus,
Da sieht im Mondenscheine
Ein lockig Haupt heraus.

Die Abendlüfte fächeln
Ihr leicht am dichten Haar,
Der Mond mit mildem Lächeln
Vergoldet's wunderbar.

Sie schaut in stillem Sinnen
Zur stillen Welt hinein,
Und Luft und Licht umspinnen
Das Haupt mit Heilgenschein.
