Eine Fürstin ist die Schönheit, Übet über ihre Sklaven Unbedingte Herrschermacht. Ihre souveraine Laune Stürzet uns zu böser Stunde In die tiefste Todesnacht. Doch auch eine Gottheit ist sie, Eine große wundervolle, Die die Grüfte kreißen macht. Nur ein Wort, ein Wink der Gnade, Und es steigen ihre Todten, Ihre bleich dahingesunknen, Blühend aus dem Grabesschacht.
