Heisser flammt die Sehnsucht auf,
schneller geht des Schiffleins Lauf,

dorthin liegt das Reich des Herrn!

ple d’enyor de la seva pàtria.

ens agradaria d’estar amb el nostre Senyor,
on l’amor no s’enfreda,

i la joia es transfigura

Quan més ardent flameja l’anhel,
el curs del vaixell va més de pressa,
