by Mikhail Alekseyevich Kuzmin (1872 - 1936)

Sladko umeret'
Language: Russian (Русский)
Sladko umeret'
na pole bitvy
pri sviste strel i kopij,
kogda zvučit truba
i solnce svetit,
v polden',
umiraja dlja slavy otčizny
i slyša vokrug:
ъProščaj, geroj!ъ
Sladko umeret'
mastitym starcem
v tom že dome,
na toj že krovati,
gde rodilis' i umerli dedy,
okružennym det'mi,
stavšimi uže mužami,
i slyša vokrug:
ъProščaj, otec!ъ
No eščë slašče,
eščë mudree,
istrativši vsë imen'e,
prodavši poslednjuju mel'nicu
dlja toj,
kotoruju zavtra zabyl by,
vernuvšis'
posle veseloj progulki
v uže prodannyj dom,
použinat'
i, pročitav rasskaz Apuleja
v sto pervyj raz,
v teploj dušistoj vanne,
ne slyša nikakich proščanij,
otkryt' sebe žily;
i čtob v dlinnoe okno u potolka
pachlo levkojami,
svetila zarja
i vdaleke byli slyšny flejty.
