Geht der Schmetterling nach Mäulchen,
Küßt er alle Blumen rings herum.
Leicht läßt jede sich besiegen,
Gern läßt sie ihn weiter fliegen:
Denn der [Flattrer]¹ ist verschwiegen
Und zum Glück [ja]² stumm.

Soll dein stolzer Plan gelingen,
Willst du jedes Herz bezwingen:
Ahme nach den Schmetterlingen,
Sei bescheiden und so stumm wie sie!
Laut laß' keinen Sieg dich freuen!
