Ἐδόκουν ὄναρ τροχάζειν πτέρυγας φέρων ἐπ᾽ ὤμων, ὁ δ᾽ Ἔρως ἔχων μόλιβδον περὶ τοῖς καλοῖς ποδίσκοις ἐδίωκε καὶ κίχανεν. τί θέλει δ᾽ ὄναρ τόδ᾽ εἶναι; δοκέω δ᾽ ἔγωγε· πολλοῖς ἐν ἔρωσί με πλακέντα διολισθάνειν μὲν ἄλλους, ἑνί τωι δὲ συνδεθῆναι.
