by Emanuel von Geibel (1815 - 1884)

Des Mondes Silber rinnt
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  FRE
Des Mondes Silber rinnt
Im Wald von Zweig zu Zweigen,
Im Thal die Nebel steigen,
Entschlafen ist der Wind.

Und wie kein Halm sich regt,
Kein Läublein, keine Ranke,
Hat jeder Schmerzgedanke
Sich auch zur Ruh gelegt.

Wie klar erscheinst du mir
In meiner Seele Grunde!
Mir ist zu dieser Stunde,
Ich redete mit dir.

Ich fühl's in sel'ger Ruh:
Eins sind wir, auch geschieden --
Gut' Nacht, und solchen Frieden,
Geliebte, hab' auch du!
