zit ze en ze droomt;
En haar schaduw is mooi alsof een engel er zich in spiegelt.
De schemering valt, de bosschage slaapt;
tussen de bladeren en takjes,
bovenop het maagdelijke paradijs opent zich een paradijs van goud;
Op de oever komt een laatste deining tot stilstand.
Een stem die zong, mompelt plotseling
Het mompelen wordt uitademen en sterft weg
In de stilte vallen de bloembladeren...
