    Sprich nicht: Die Frommen sind verlorn,
    Das Kreuz hat sie nur neu geborn.
    Denn denen, die auf Jesum hoffen,
    Steht stets die Tür der Gnaden offen;
    Und wenn sie Kreuz und Trübsal drückt,
    So werden sie mit Trost erquickt.
