Ruusu puhkesi kukkaan
Language: Finnish (Suomi)  after the Latin
Ruusu puhkesi kukkaan,
kun neitsyt,
Neitsyt Maria synnytti
Vapahtajan meille kaikille,
Korkeimman Isän Pojan;
se oli syntymisen suuri ihme.

Jumalan armosta
Hän astui alas luoksemme
ja tuli ihmiseksi,
ja pelastaa kaikki
väkevällä voimallaan,
se oli syntymisen suuri ihme.

Me kunnioitamme häntä hymneillä
ja iloisilla lauluilla,
ylistämme häntä,
tänään vietämme juhla;
kuninkaiden kuninkaan vanhurskautta
me ylistämme.

Kun Vapahtaja syntyi neitsyestä
Pyhän Hengen mystisellä voimalla,
se oli syntymisen suuri ihme.
Siksi me kaikki yhdessä
laulaen ja tanssien
ylistämme Herraa.
