Dort, im waldigen, grün düsterm Raum träumt stumm und trauervoll manch dunkler Baum. Hier aber weit Gesang und Prangen. Juchhei! jauchzt Wiesenpracht mit junggrünen Wangen. Rinnt ein Wasser, springt ein Wasser, grün und helle, schwellend, schnellend flinke Welle treibt die Quelle. Schwarz dort der Wald, düster der Wald versunken Wasser hier wallt, grüne Gewalt wie trunken. Lockendes leises Singen, glockendes Saitenklingen, Übermut sprengt dahin die Pferdchen zu jagendem Springen. Heijah!
