a la rosa, el meu goig,
que ja es vincla i s’esblaima
per els ardents raigs del sol,
li porto un vas d’aigua
treta d’un pou profund.
Oh tu, rosa del meu cor!
Per el silent raig del dolor
t’has vinclat i esblaimat;
als teus peus, voldria
com l’aigua a aquesta flor,
silenciosament regar la meva ànima!
Encara que llavors no pogués veure
redreçar-te de nou.
