Three little children are looking out of the window
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
Three little children are looking out of the window,
In the garden many flowers are blooming beautifully,
They talk to all of the flowers and birds;
The robin is their favourite.

"No matter how [early]1 we look out of the window,
All the little flowers are already standing in their livery;
The little flowers are mute, but the birdlet says peep, --
Robin, please, give us an answer!"
