Du bist wie eine stille Sternennacht! Ein süß Geheimnis ruht auf deinem Munde, In deines dunklen Auges feuchtem Grunde. Ich weiß es wohl und hab es wohl in Acht. Du bist wie eine stille Sternennacht! Mein Aug'ist müde von des Tages Lichtern, Und ich durchwandle, wie ein Fremdling, schüchtern der wechselnden Gestalten fremde Pracht. Du bist wie eine stille Sternennacht!
