Complainte des soldats
Language: French (Français)
Quand ils sont revenus chez eux,
avaient le chef tout saigneux
avaient le cœur entre les dents,
et les rigoles avaient leur sang;
quand ils sont revenus ches eux,
les rouges, les bleus, les combateux,
ont cherché leurs tabatières,
leurs bahuts et leurs draps blancs,
ont cherché vaches laitières,
porcs grognons, femmes cousant,
enfants coiffés comme espiègles
de chaudrons tout reluisants,
ont même cherché leurs maisons...
n'ont trouvé que irers et taupes,
ont humé l'air et sont morts. --
Ont craché leur cœur avant !
