by Aleksey Vasil'yevich Kol'tsov (1808 - 1842)

Velikaja tajna
Language: Russian (Русский)
Tuchi nosjat vodu,
Voda poit zemlju,
Zemlja plod prinosit;
Bezdna zvjozd na nebe,
Bezdna zhizni v mire;
To mrachna, to svetla
Chudnaja priroda…

Starejas' v somnen'jakh
O velikikh tajnakh,
Idut nevozvratno
Veki za vekami;
U kazhdogo veka
Vechnost' voproshajet:
«Chem konchilos' delo?» —
«Voprosi drugova», —
Kazhdyj otvechajet.

Smelyj um s mol'boju
Mchitsja k Providen'ju.
Ty povedaj mysljam
Tajnu sikh sozdanij!
Shljut otvet, vnov' tajnyj,
Chudesa prirody,
Tishinoj i burej
Mysli izumljaja…

Chto zhe sovershitsja
V budushchem s prirodoj?..
O, gori, lampada,
Jarche pred Raspjat'em!
Tjazhely mne dumy,
Sladostna molitva!
