Ce que j'ai vu dans ton fond Ne peut être décrit aux gens ordinaires. Pourtant à cette heure il m'est clairement apparu Que rien ne peut séparer un ami de son ami. Sur cette croyance, verre si aimable, Je te vide avec grand courage ! L'or clair des étoiles se reflète, Coupe, dans ton sang précieux ! La lune passe en silence le long de la vallée L'heure de minuit sonne avec gravité. Le verre est vide ! La note sacrée Résonne dans le fond de cristal.
