Le moine se tient encore à la fenêtre, Regardant dehors vers eux : « Je suis, comme vous, aussi un pèlerin, Bien que je reste à la maison. Le voyage de la vie à travers des vagues trompeuses Et des déserts brûlants, Est aussi une croisade Vers la terre promise.
