Willkommen jetzt, o dunkler Hain
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  FRE ITA
Recitativo: Hanne
 Willkommen jetzt, o dunkler Hain,
 wo der bejahrten Eiche Dach
 den kühlenden Schirm gewährt,
und wo der schlanken Äspe Laub
 mit leisem Gelispel rauscht.
 Am weichen Moose rieselt da
 in heller Flut der Bach,
 und fröhlich summend irrt
 und wirrt die bunte Sonnenbrut.
 Der Kräuter reinen Balsamduft
 verbreitet Zephyrs Hauch,
 und aus dem nahen Busche
 tönt des jungen Schäfers Rohr.
