Ich bin niemand und werde auch niemand sein. Jetzt bin ich ja zum Sein noch zu klein; aber auch später. Mütter und Väter, erbarmt euch mein. Zwar es lohnt nicht des Pflegens Müh: ich werde doch gemäht. Mich kann keiner brauchen: jetzt ist es zu früh und morgen ist es zu spät. Ich habe nur dieses eine Kleid, es wird dünn und es verbleicht, aber es hält eine Ewigkeit auch noch vor Gott vielleicht. Ich habe nur dieses bißchen Haar (immer dasselbe blieb), das einmal Eines Liebstes war. Nun hat er nichts mehr lieb.
