Exultet celum laudibus
Language: Latin
Exultet celum laudibus
Resultet terra gaudiis
Apostolorum gloriam
Sacra canant solemnia
Vos secli iusti iudices
Et vera mundi lumina
Votis precamur, cordium
Audite preces supplicum
Qui celum verbo clauditis
Serrasque eius solvitis
Nos a peccatis omnibus
Solvite iussu, quesumus
Quorum precepto subditur
Salus et languor omnium
Sanate egros moribus
Nos reddentes virtutibus
Ut cum iudex advenerit
Christus in fine seculi
Nos sempiterni gaudii
Faciat esse compotes
Deo Patri sit gloria
Eiusque soli Filio
Cum Spirito paraclito
Et nunc et in perpetuum.

Let heaven exult with praises
Language: English  after the Latin
Let heaven exult with praises,
Let the earth echo with joy,
Let them sing the glory of the Apostles
In sacred worship
You just judges of this age
And true lights of the world,
We pray to you with our vows, hear
The prayers of our beseeching hearts
You who close up the gates of heaven with your word,
And open its locks,
Free us from all our sins
By your command, we beg
By your command is subjected
The health and illness of all men,
Heal us that are sick
Returning us to virtuous paths
So that when the Judge comes,
Christ himself at the end of the age,
He might make us sharers
In his eternal joy
Glory be to God the Father
And to his only Son
With the Spirit, the helper,
Now and for ever.
