Ach, englische Schäferin
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT FRE ITA
Ach, englische Schäferin,
erhöre mein Bitt,
und laß mich einkehren
in deine grün Hütt!
ich hab mich verspätet
mit Jagen im Wald,
die Nacht, die mich quälet,
ist schrecklich und kalt!

"Ach ja mein lieber Jäger,
was machst du denn hier?
Habt ihr auf grün Heide,
im Wald kein Quartier?
Bei mir zu verbleiben,
das kann ja nicht sein,
mein Tür ist verschlossen,
laß niemand herein!"

Ach, englische Schäferin,
holdseligstes Kind,
eur huldreicher Anblick
der hat mich entzündt;
wenn ich mich könnt laben
und lindern die Pein,
den Wald wollt ich lassen
und Schäfer nur sein!

"Ach herzliebster Jäger,
so spät in der Nacht
hat euch noch die Liebe
zu Kreuze gebracht!
Wenn ich euch soll heben,
und lindern die Plag,
eure Schäferin werden,
so kommet bei Tag."

Ach, englische Schäferin,
warum denn so stolz,
es ist euer Bettlein
ja doch nur von Holz!
Tät ich mich drein legen,
so wärs mir ein Spott,
Gottbefohlen, du Schäferin,
ich muß jetzo fort.

"Ach lieber, mein Jäger,
was frag ich nach euch,
ihr seid bei Nacht kommen,
das hat mich erfreut:
ihr könnt eine Andre lieben,
ich wünsch euch viel Glück,
dürft mir nicht mehr kommen
vor meine Schäferhütt!"

Deh, angelica pastorella
Language: Italian (Italiano)  after the German (Deutsch)
Deh, angelica pastorella
la mia preghiera accogli,
lascia che io possa entrare
nella tua verde capanna!
Ho fatto troppo tardi
andando a caccia nel bosco,
la notte ora mi angoscia,
è paurosa e fredda!

"Ah, caro il mio cacciatore,
che cosa fai da queste parti?
Non hai nella verde landa,
un posto dove trovare riparo?
Restare presso di me,
non è cosa possibile,
serrata è la mia porta,
nessuno può entrare!"

Deh, angelica pastorella,
incantevole fanciulla,
il tuo gentilissimo aspetto
mi ha infiammato tutto;
se potessi trovare conforto
ed alleviare il dolore,
abbandonerei il bosco
e mi farei solo pastore!

"Ah, carissimo cacciatore,
a un'ora così tarda, di notte,
viene a infliggervi amore
un così atroce tormento!
Se devo confortarvi,
e la pena alleviare,
esser la vostra pastora,
tornate pure di giorno!"

Ah, angelica pastorella,
perché siete così superba,
il vostro piccolo lettino
è solo di duro legno!
Se mi ci dovessi sdraiare,
mi coprirei di ridicolo,
Dio vi protegga, mia pastorella,
adesso devo proprio andare.

"Ah, caro il mio cacciatore,
cosa vi posso dire:
siete venuto di notte,
e ciò mi ha rallegrato;
amate pure un'altra,
vi auguro di esser felice,
ma davanti alla mia porta,
più non vi presentate!"
