Wach auf mein Herzenschöne
Language: German (Deutsch)  after the German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT ENG FRE ITA
Wach auf mein Herzenschöne,
zart Allerliebste mein,
ich hör ein süß Getöne
von kleinen Waldvöglein,
die hör ich so lieblich singen,
ich mein, es woll des Tages Schein
vom Orient her dringen.

Ich hör die Hahnen krähen,
und spür den Tag darbei,
die kühlen Winde wehen,
die Sternlein leuchten frei.
Singt uns Frau Nachtigalle,
singt uns ein süße Melodei,
sie meld't den Tag mit Schalle.

Du hast mein Herz umfangen
in treu inbrünstger Lieb,
ich bin so oft gegangen
Feinslieb nach deiner Zier,
ob ich dich möcht ersehen,
so würd erfreut das Herz in mir,
die Wahrheit muß ich g'stehen.

Selig ist Tag und Stunde,
darin du bist gebor'n,
Gott grüß mir dein rot Munde,
den ich mir hab erkor'n;
kann mir kein Liebre werden,
schau daß mein Lieb nicht sei verlor'n,
du bist mein Trost auf Erden.

Réveille‑toi, beauté de mon cœur
Language: French (Français)  after the German (Deutsch)
Réveille-toi, beauté de mon cœur,
Ma tendre et très chère,
J'entends un doux son
Venant des petits oiseaux de la forêt,
J'entends leurs chants si charmants,
Je sens que le jour de lève,
Se pressant depuis l'est vers ici.

J'entends les coqs chanter,
Et je sens le jour arriver,
le vent frais souffle,
Les petites étoiles brillent avec éclat.
Madame Rossignol chante pour nous,
Chante pour nous une douce mélodie,
Annonçant le jour avec force.

Tu as pris mon cœur
Avec un amour fidèle et ardent.
Je suis allé si souvent,
Ma chérie, voir ta beauté,
Si pouvais seulement te voir,
Mon cœur serait si heureux,
Je dois avouer la vérité.

Bénis soient le jour et l'heure
Où tu es née à moi.
Merci à Dieu pour tes lèvres rouges,
Que j'ai choisies ;
Personne ne peut être plus cher pour moi,
Veille à ce que mon amour ne soit pas perdu,
Tu es mon réconfort sur terre.
