Doch als du dann gegangen
Language: German (Deutsch)

Doch als du dann gegangen,
da hat sich mein Verlangen
ganz aufgetan nach dir.
Als sollt ich dich verlieren,
schüttelte ich mit irren Fingern
deine verschlossene Tür.
Und durch die Nacht der Scheiben,
ob du nicht würdest bleiben,
bettelten meine Augen; und
du gingst hinauf die Stufen
und hast mich nicht gerufen,
mich nicht zurück an deinen Mund.
Vernahm nur noch mit stieren
Sinnen dein Schlüsselklirren
im schwarzen Flur, und dann
stürzten auf mich die Schatten,
die mir im Park schon nahten,
als wir den Mond versinken sahn.

Après
Language: French (Français)  after the German (Deutsch)
Mais après, quand tu es partie,
alors mon désir de toi
s'est tout à fait révélé.
Comme si je devais te perdre,
mes doigts égarés secouèrent
ta porte fermée.
Et à travers l'obscurité des vitres,
ne sachant pas si tu resterais,
mes yeux imploraient ;
et tu as monté les marches
et ne m 'as pas appelé,
pas rappelé vers ta bouche.
Mes sens égarés ont juste perçu
le cliquetis de ta clé
dans le couloir obscur, et après
les ombres sont tombées sur moi,
celles qui déjà dans le parc s'approchaient
quand nous regardions disparaître la lune
