les mans es posen a les nostres temples,
el respecte calma la xardor dels nostres membres:
no pensis doncs en les ombres sense forma
que es gronxen amunt i avall de la paret, 
ni en els guardians que poden separar-nos,
ni tampoc que la sorra blanca, davant de la ciutat,
està prompte per xuclar la nostra sang.
