Questi vaghi concenti
Language: Italian (Italiano)
Our translations:  FRE SPA
Questi vaghi concenti
che l'augellett'intorno
vanno temprando a l'apparir del giorno
sono, cred'io, d'amor desiri ardenti;
sono pene e tormenti;
e pur fanno le selv'e'l ciel gioire
al lor dolce languire.
Deh! se potessi anch'io
cosí dolce dolermi
per questi poggi solitari e ermi,
che quell'a cui piacer sola desio
gradiss'il pianger mio,
io bramerei sol per piacer a lei
eterni i pianti miei.

Ces harmonies suaves
Language: French (Français)  after the Italian (Italiano)
Ces harmonies suaves
que les petits oiseaux tout autour
font entendre au lever du jour
sont, je crois, des désirs ardents d'amour ;
ils sont peines et tourments;
et cependant ils font la joie des forêts et du ciel
par leur douce langueur.
Ah ! si je pouvais aussi
me lamenter aussi doucement
au milieu de ces collines solitaires et désertes,
que celle à qui seule je désire plaire
apprécie mes larmes,
je désirerais, seulement pour lui plaire,
que mes larmes soient éternelles.
