Dort auf des Berges Höhe Da steht ein Zauberschloß, Die Mauern sind zerfallen Verschollen der Rittertroß. Doch wer am Abend schauet Von dort in's schöne Land, Der fühlt zu jenen Mauern Sich ewig hingebannt. Des Zauberschlosses Trümmer Entrollten von der Höh, Draus baute sich der Fischer Sein kleines Haus am See. Dort sitzt ein schlanker Bursche Beim blonden Fischerkind; Ob sie von jenen Trümmern Wohl auch gebannet sind? Manch müder Wandrer steiget Am Abend zur Höh hinauf, Sie aber baun im Thale Das Schloß sich schöner auf.
