Niet veel meer dan heel zacht klagen Aan mijn volle hart ontsprong , Als wanneer op winterdagen Vaak al half een vogel zong. Zoals vaak uit dichte wolken Half slechts dringt een straaltje zon En versmoord door regenkolken, Snel weer terugkeert naar zijn bron, Zo kwam mijn gemoed verlichten, Ach, slechts kort een lichte droom, En van 't lied, het juist gestichte, Klonk maar nauwelijks een toon.
