Nocturne

Silverskira månskenskväll,
nattens blåa bölja,
glittervågor utan tal
på varandra följa.
Skuggor falla över vägen,
strandens buskar gråta sakta,
svarta jättar strandens silver vakta.
Tystnad djup i sommarens mitt,
sömn och dröm, -
månen glider över havet
vit och öm.

Nocturne

Soirée de clair de lune argenté,
onde bleue  de nuit,
vagues scintillantes sans nombre
à la suite l'une de l'autre.
Des ombres tombent sur le chemin,
des buissons sur la plage pleurent doucement,
des géants noirs gardent l'argent de la plage.
Profond silence au milieu de l'été,
sommeil et rêve,
la lune glisse au-dessus de la mer,
blanche et tendre.
