In den Beeren
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT ENG FRE
Die Mutter:
 Singe, Mädchen, hell und klar,
 Sing' aus voller Kehle,
 Daß uns nicht die Spatzenschar
 Alle Beeren stehle!

Die Tochter:
Mutter, mag auch weit der Spatz
 Flieh'n vor meinem Singen,
Fürcht' ich doch, es wird den Schatz
 Um so näher bringen.

Die Mutter:
 Freilich, für so dreisten Gauch
 Braucht es einer Scheuche,
 Warte nur, ich komme auch
 In die Beerensträuche!

Die Tochter:
Mutter, nein, das hat nicht Not:
 Beeren, schau, sind teuer,
Doch der Küsse, reif und rot,
 Gibt es viele heuer!

Tussen de bessen
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)  after the German (Deutsch)
De moeder:
Zing eens, meisje, licht en klaar,
 Zing maar flink, niet kwelen!
 Laat niet door de mussenschaar
 Alle bessen stelen!

De dochter:
Moeder, zelfs al vlucht de mus
 Ver weg door mijn zingen,
‘k Ben toch bang, mijn vriend zal 't dus
 Juist naar hier toe dringen.

De moeder:
 Zeker, maar zo’n drieste gek
 Moet je flink doen schrikken,
Eén moment, laat m' ook een plek
 In de bessen schikken!

De dochter:
 Moeder, nee, daaraan geen nood,
 Bessen zijn er weinig,
 Echter, kussen, rijp en rood,
 Zijn er nu oneindig!
