Und als er wieder nach Hause kam, Feinsliebchen stand vor der Tür: "Gott grüße dich, mein Schätzchen, Sehn wir einander hier?" Was tat er ihr bald schenken? Ein schön Goldringelein. Was schenket sie ihm bald wieder? Ein schön Goldkränzelein. Womit war es gebunden? Mit lauter Liebesband. Wohl mit Jelängerjelieber, von Gottes Vaterhand.
