Ich erinnere mich an eine Heckenrose, die du mir schenktest, Ein Blick so schüchtern und zärtlich; Ich erinnere mich an eine Abschiedsträne, die glänzte. War das alles, war das alles ein Traum? Ein Traum, so kurz wie das Leben des Buschwindröschens Im Frühling auf einer grünen Wiese, deren Pracht bald verwelkt, um viele neue Blumen erblühen zu lassen. Doch in manch einer Nacht höre ich eine Stimme im Strom der bitteren Tränen: Verbirg die Erinnerung daran tief in deiner Brust, es war dein bester Traum!
