Wie ein Duft von wilden Rosen
Schwebt die Glut verstohlner Küsse
Dort bezaubernd in den Lüften.
Ach, und wenn der Abend dunkelt,
Unverhüllt durch die Gemächer
Wandelt mit geschwungner Fackel
Eros dann, und unablässig
Sprühn der Sehnsucht irre Funken
Weiterzündend um ihn her.

Wo am Herd ein Brautpaar siedelt,
