O Felsen, lieber Felsen
Language: German (Deutsch)  after the Czech (Čeština)
Our translations:  CAT DUT ENG FRE
O Felsen, lieber Felsen,
Was stürztest du nicht ein,
Als ich mich trennen mußte
Von dem Geliebten mein?

Laß dämmern, Gott, laß dämmern,
Daß bald der Abend wink'
Und daß auch bald mein Leben
In Dämmerung versink'!

O Nachtigall, du traute,
O sing' im grünen Hain,
Erleichtere das Herz mir
Und meines Herzens Pein!

Mein Herz, das liegt erstarret
Zu Stein in meiner Brust,
Es findet hier auf Erden
An nichts, an nichts mehr Lust.

Ich frei' wohl einen Andern
Und lieb' ich ihn auch nicht;
Ich tue, was mein Vater
Und meine Mutter spricht.

Ich tue nach des Vaters
Und nach der Mutter Wort,
Doch heiße Tränen weinet
Mein Herz in einem fort.

Oh roques, estimades roques
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Oh roques, estimades roques,
per què no caiguéreu
quan em vaig haver de separar
del meu estimat?

Deixa que es faci fosc, oh Déu, que es faci fosc,
perquè aviat s’anunciï el capvespre,
i que aviat també la meva vida
s’enfonsi en el crepuscle!

Oh rossinyol, tu estimat,
oh, canta al verd boscatge,
alleuja el meu cor
i la pena del meu cor!

El meu cor jau endurit
com una pedra al meu pit,
aquí a la terra ja no troba cap goig
en res, en res.

Estic promesa a un altre home
i no l’estimo pas;
però faré el que el meu pare
i la meva mare m’han dit.

Seguiré la paraula del pare
i també la de la mare,
però càlides llàgrimes
vessarà per sempre el meu cor.
