Qu'un léger bruit t'éveille,
T'annonce-t-il mes vœux ?
Et si la jeune abeille
Passe devant tes yeux,
N'entends-tu rien à ton oreille ?
N'entends-tu pas ce que je veux ?
La feuille frémissante,
L'eau qui parle en courant,
La rose languissante,
Qui te cherche en mourant ;
Prends-y garde, ô ma vie absente !
