 Schlinget den Reigen,
 Laßt uns verneigen
 Freudig, demutsvoll vor dem Herrn!

 Die auf der Erde zurückgeblieben!
 Unten ist's dunkel, oben das Licht,
 Haß ist dort, hier ewiges Lieben.

 Kommt schon die Peri herangeflogen!

 ornateli con fiori, tutte quante voi amiche,
 in modo che sulla più ultima creatura celeste
 cada benigno uno sguardo dell'eterno!
 Unitevi alla danza,
 lasciateci inchinare
 con umile gioia davanti al Signore!

 e non vi dimenticate degli amati
 che sono rimasti sulla terra!
 Là sotto è oscurità, in alto è luce,
 là regna l'odio, qui l'amore eterno.
