Schlinget den Reigen, Laßt uns verneigen Freudig, demutsvoll vor dem Herrn! Vokalquartett Auch der Geliebten vergesset nicht, Die auf der Erde zurückgeblieben! Unten ist's dunkel, oben das Licht, Haß ist dort, hier ewiges Lieben. Schmücket die Stufen usw. Sopran I & II und Chor Seht da, die Bahn zum ew'gen Licht Kommt schon die Peri herangeflogen! Liebliche Peri, verzweifle nicht, Treu' und Glaub' hat noch nie betrogen! Suche das Gut, Im Auge ruht, Was das Teuerste ist dem Herrn! Jetzo zurück in die Rosenlauben, Freude zu geben, Freud' zu empfangen, An des Geliebten Lippen zu hangen, Küsse zu bieten, Küsse zu rauben. Schon naht die Sonne, ewige Wonne Harret, die freudig dienen dem Herrn!

Coro Ornate i gradini del trono di Allah, ornateli con fiori, tutte quante voi amiche, in modo che sulla più ultima creatura celeste cada benigno uno sguardo dell'eterno! Unitevi alla danza, lasciateci inchinare con umile gioia davanti al Signore! Quartetto vocale e non vi dimenticate degli amati che sono rimasti sulla terra! Là sotto è oscurità, in alto è luce, là regna l'odio, qui l'amore eterno. Ornate i gradini etc. Soprano I e II e Coro Osservate, sul sentiero verso la luce eterna giunge già la Peri ad ali spiegate! Amatissima Peri, non disperare, Fede e Speranza non hanno mai ingannato! Ricerca il bene, nello sguardo sta quanto è più prezioso al Signore! Ma ora ritorniamo ai giardini di rose a dare gioia, e ricevere gioia e, appese alle labbra amate, a dare baci, a rubare baci. Già si avvicina il sole, e un'estasi eterna attende quanti servono con gioia il Signore!
