Det er i dag et vejr

Det er i dag et vejr, et solskinsvejr!
O søde vår, så er du atter nær!
Nu vil jeg glemme rent, at det var vinter,
nu vil jeg gå og købe hyacinter
og bringe dem til én, som jeg har kær.

Hun købte af de hvide og de blå
hun købte af de smukkeste, hun så.
Det er i dag et vejr! Og solen skinner!
Og om mig svæver lutter lyse minder,
dem ta'r jeg med til den, jeg tænker på.

Og de kom svævende i ring og rad.,
Hun gik imellem dem og var så glad.
Det er idag et solskin uden mage!
Og jeg har solskin nok til mange dage,
og jeg må kysse hvert et lille blad.

Hun kyssede dem alle, hver især,
hun bragte dem til den, hun havde kær.
Min ven, her kommer jeg med hyacinter!
Min ven, nu glemmer vi, at det er vinter!
Det er idag et vejr, et solskinsvejr-!

Ô doux printemps, tu es proche encore une fois !
Je vais maintenant tout à fait oublier que c'était l'hiver,
je vais maintenant aller acheter des jacinthes
et les apporter à celle que j'aime.

Elle en achetait des blanches et des bleues
elle achetait les plus belles.
Quel beau temps aujourd'hui ! Et le soleil brille !
Et autour de moi planent de purs et lumineux souvenirs
qui me ramènent vers celle à qui je pense.

Et ils viennent flotter à la queue leu leu.
Elle allait au milieu d'eux et était si heureuse.
Il y a aujourd'hui un soleil sans pareil !
Oh, j'ai assez de soleil pour plusieurs jours,
et je pourrais embrasser chaque petite feuille.

Elle les embrassait toutes, chacune en particulier,
elle les rapportait à celui qu'elle aimait.
Mon amie, je viens avec des jacinthes !
Mon amie, oublions maintenant que ce fut l'hiver !
Quel beau temps aujourd'hui, quel beau soleil !
