Wenn er wandelt [auf]1 des Berges Höh':

Schreibt ein Brieflein mir in ferne Land'.

In die Lüfte hoch [ein]3 Reiher steigt,
Dahin weder Pfeil noch Kugel [fleugt]4:

Die Gedanken treuer Liebe sind.
